Who we are

Afterbuild Labs is a professional services firm operated by Hyder Shah. Business correspondence: hello@afterbuildlabs.com. Entity and tax details available on request for commercial counter-parties under NDA.

Engagements

All Afterbuild Labs engineering engagements are governed by a written Statement of Work agreed before work begins. Payment terms, scope, and deliverables are defined in the SOW. Fixed-fee quotes are binding once countersigned. See also our published pricing and services overview.

Intellectual property

Code produced under a paid engagement is assigned to the client on full payment. Afterbuild Labs retains no rights to client codebases or proprietary business logic. Generic utilities, tooling, and methodology (including schema helpers, audit templates, and pattern libraries) remain the property of Afterbuild Labs.

Confidentiality

Client code, product plans, and engagement details are treated as confidential. We sign mutual NDAs on request. Case studies on /case-studies are published only as illustrative composites with explicit user-visible disclosure; we never publish real client identities without written consent.

Limitation of liability

Afterbuild Labs's liability for any single engagement is capped at the engagement fee. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
